If you love good day trip like we do, check out Family Road Traveled!  It’s run by local mom Estée Pouleris who shares her family’s favorite local eatery – Saggio in Washington Heights.

  • Go up a big staircase near the restaurant you will find a cute park called Bennett Park (Ed. Note – Fun fact – Bennett Park occupies the highest point of land in Manhattan, 265.05 feet above sea level. Learn more on Bennett Park’s interesting history go here.)
  • There is a cozy garden section in the back which is open when the weather is nice

Insider Tips:

  • The children’s menu portions are so large! We always get the chicken parm – it comes with a side of pasta which my 5 year old eats at dinner and we take the chicken home for lunch the following day.
