What’s In My Baby Bag?

Featuring Meghann McKale, Upper West Side

Meghann McKale is a stay at home mom to Avery, 3, and baby boy Henry who is 10 weeks old. She’s an avid reader and always has great suggestions! She shares her passion with Avery who can often be seen wearing cool t-shirts from Out Of Print where her daddy Chuck works!10676161_10155039706845403_496440267436377340_n (1)

The Vessel: Madewell Transport Tote

“I started out with the Rebecca Minkoff Knocked Up Baby Bag, which was great when I was using it attached to Avery’s stroller. But once we started travelling stroller-free, I needed something that made it easier to access all our stuff on the go. There’s not much to the transport tote, but it looks great, has a ton of space, doesn’t seem to be buckling under the weight of all our stuff, and is aging really nicely.”

The Goods:

  • A full change of clothes for Avery
  • Two pairs of underwear
  • Seventh generation wipes
  • Mini box of raisins
  • Camelbak Water Bottle
  • Paperback Curious George books (lightweight and always a hit!)
  • In the summer, a bathing suit and sunscreen. Avery has told me off many times for not being prepared with a suit when we hit a playground with a splashpad!

Fork + Bib Favorite Restaurant:

Our local fave is Parm. I love loud restaurants because they drown out kid noise! Plus this location has crayons and Frozen pictures for kiddos to color. We usually have no trouble walking in before 6.
