Before I begin this review let me be very honest – any restaurant that offers a good lobster roll in already off to a good start in my books. However since I’m reviewing it’s kid friendliness, enough about seafood, let’s get down to it. Harding’s NYC does well on the Sippy Cup scale. The space is large with lots of room around the tables, particularly in the front section which is definitely double-stroller friendly (a rare find in many NYC restaurants).

Lobster Roll NYC Flatiron

Dear Lobster Roll, please marry me.

There is a kiddie menu (although for some reason we didn’t see it when we were there) and the selection is broad enough, particularly on the Brunch menu, to please any little palate. Our waiter was super friendly and gave Sunny a side of fruit and a side of french fries and a side of veggies on three separate small plates – god forbid the various foods TOUCH each other 🙂 The restaurant also offers paper and crayons!

We sat in the front section of the restaurant which is very spacious – Sunny especially liked the front bench aligning the window which allowed for some great people watching (for Mommy too!)

Apple Crumble = Heaven

Bonus Points:

  • The lobster roll and apple crumble are both to die for….the nice waiter even promised me to make them calorie free 🙂
  • Lots of room in the front section for multiple strollers.

Insider Tips:

  • A few blocks away from Madison Square Park and the huge Lego store which has an awesome free play area and frequent events for kids.
  • This is a popular place with the liquid brunch and happy hour crowd. Go early!
